Unraveling Sarah Palin

I rejoice on the awakening of millions of citizens from all walks of life that supported the Republican candidates and the significant contribution of the tea party movement in the resounding and historical victory during the recent congressional elections. However, I like to issue an early warning to my fellow conservatives if we like to carry over the recent victory and recapture the nation’s Chief Executive Office.

My advice is to be aware of “fake conservatism” and to be mindful of supporting a candidate with depth and sound intellectual qualifications for such an honorable position. We have seen the phenomenon of Sarah Palin, of dubious credentials, rapidly ascending to become a “celebrity” through pretentious, boisterous and theatrical style. She projects mental instability and emptiness of character. We should not be blinded or fanaticized by such style of deceiving politics. She has become the queen of often erratical one-liner pronouncements. We should not forget either, that she is a quitter who could not withstand the pressure of her office as Governor of Alaska let alone the office of the Presidency. It is very obvious that because all of her shortcomings, the liberals are dubbing her as the “dream candidate” for the Republicans. Beware of the dogs!

The above being said, what really counts is a level headed Republican candidate with proven credentials about the serious issues confronting the nation such as the economy, international affairs, terrorism, homeland security, moral values, illegal immigration, energy independence, upgrading the educational system, the national debt, a fair taxation system, and the protection of private enterprise under a free market system.
As true conservatives, we are here not to hate or harm, but to win the hearts and minds of the American people in the pursuit of just causes that will continue to elevate the traditional and sacred values of our nation as outlined in the Declaration of Independence and detailed in the Constitution of the United States of America. We should put our best individual efforts to defeat socialist policies being gradually promoted by the present administration under a cynical disguise. We need to preserve the essence of what has made this country the greatest and most advanced nation in the world based on respect for human values, private initiative and individual freedom. The government should not guide our destiny. On the contrary; the people should guide the government.

I know that in the political world I am a miniscule, unknown person but Thank God in this great country of ours we all have the right to our opinion. I hope the conservative leaders will wake-up to the realities of the moment and without apprehension, will unravel the many negatives of Sarah Palin before it is too late to stop her. Let us distinguish between true, proven conservatives and a high pitch, loose cannon ball stirring bedazzled emotions to gain recognition and political power.

Propitiously, there are at the present time a number of significant political figures with high qualifications and proven backgrounds for either one of the two top spots on the Republican Party. At this early stage I would venture to name a few that in my humble opinion are capable of leading a powerful ticket to victory: Mitt Romney, Haley Barbour, Newt Gingrich, John Thune, Tim Pawlenty, Jeb Bush, Bobby Jindal, Michele Bachmann, Rudy Giuliani, and Mike Huckabee among others.

I wholeheartedly agree with the recent suggestion from former First Lady, Barbara Bush, (whom I had the great honor of meeting personally in 1990) when she wisely advised Sarah Palin to stay in Alaska.
